Dear Flinn Families,
Flinn Middle School will be holding a Winter Fundraiser from February 9–20 featuring a Laundry Soap Fundraiser. Items available for purchase include laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, scent beads, and more.
Students will receive fundraiser information during their 8th hour class, and order forms will be sent home so they can begin selling. Families are encouraged to support their students by sharing the fundraiser with friends and relatives.
To motivate participation, prizes will be awarded to students. The top three student sellers will each receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
All completed order forms and payments are due by February 20 and should be returned to the school with your student.

The Falcon Scoop: February 2026
All RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 23, due to cold weather. All after-school activities will also be cancelled including Y Care. The RPS 205 Administration Building, Sterling Holley, & the Operations Support Center will be open.
The Rockford School District is closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Hair 2 Beauty Club at Flinn Middle School is currently seeking donations to help support our students as they learn hands-on skills in hair styling, makeup, and nail care. These donations will allow students to gain valuable experience and explore their creativity. Please see the attached flyer for more information on needed items and how to donate. Thank you for your support!

♟️ Big moves by the Flinn Middle School Chess Team! This past Saturday at De La Salle High School in Chicago, the team earned 2nd place out of 13 teams. Even sweeter—back in November, they took 1st place! Checkmate, champions! 🎉

RPS 205 & Tyson teamed up to host the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich Contest. The winners each received a Nintendo Switch along with a portrait of their creations. Congratulations to Iker at Flinn, Jordan at Auburn, and Connor at Conklin! The sandwiches will be featured on the lunch menu this Spring!
